a.     Status of roof repair/leaking roof

·        Elementary Boiler Room leak – will be repaired over the Chr= istmas Break (estimated repair cost - $4,000 - $5,000)

·        Cafeteria – leaks will be repaired before Spring (approximate = time – February/March 2012; estimated repair cost - $15,000 - $25,000= )

·        Kindergarten/1st Grade/2nd Grade hallway – will be repa= ired as soon as the funds are available to cover the repair (estimated repair co= st -  $200,000)

 

V.          Subcommittee Reports

a.   Men’s Club – Approximately 71 days till the fish fry; contact a Men’s club member if you a= re able to volunteer

b.   Madonna Guild -  Successful Christmas party at December meeting; Jan 14th  Daddy Daughter Dance; Candy grams = due; check emails= for updates

c.   Strategic Planning Committee – = Next meeting will be in January

d.   Booster Club – Meet= ing 7:30 pm Dec. 13th immediately following the School Committee Mee= ting; Christmas Party was successful; ham and kielbasa fundraiser – orders = due this week

e.   Technology Committee – Working on March 3rd goal of completion for report<= span style=3D'font-size:12.0pt;line-height:130%;font-family:"Palatino Linotype"; font-weight:normal;mso-bidi-font-weight:bold'>

 &= nbsp;          a. Foreign lang= uage will start in January (Spanish)

 

b.     Additional smoke detectors were installed in the Junior High – = Required per state regulations for pre-school students

c.     Updates to tornado policy – students will be moved to restrooms= instead of hallways (new regulations)
