1 Box of Kleenex (standard size)

Pink Eraser

2 Pocket Folders with Bottom Pockets (label one “school” and one “home” on the outside).

Zippered Pencil Case (no pencil boxes)

CRAYOLA brand crayons…no colored pencils. Please do not buy anything larger than a 24 pack at the beginning of the year.

Red led pencil . . .the ones that work best are Papermate and Ticonderoga

Checking (other brands get chewed up by the sharpener).

Backpack (please label)

Glue Stick (large . . . . you may want to stock up on these at home)

Scissors

Elmer’s School Glue

Washable markers

Daily Planner/Assignment Journal (optional)

* All first graders should be using a first grade pencil . . . . please do not

send in #2 pencils. We will supply the pencils for the children.

* Please label all your child’s supplies, lunchboxes, backpacks, and clothing (especially blue sweaters, St. Anne jackets …they all look alike).

* Please make sure all supplies are out of their packaging . . . red pencils are sharpened . . . .folders are labeled . . . .and we’re ready to go!
