Skating Party . . . . The last Skating Party of the year will be this Friday, May 18th from 5:45 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. at Skate World in Troy.  Admission price is $5.00 and skate rental is extra.  The class with the most skaters will receive a McDonald's treat!

Restaurant Night . . . . Please join us for the last Madonna Guild Restaurant Night of the school year.  It will be held on Mon. May 21st from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Flaming Grill Family Restaurant.  It is located at 43474 Mound Rd. between 19 Mile and Hall Road.  No flyer is necessary.  Just show up with your family and friends. 

Late Start Mondays . . . . The last Late Start Monday for this school year is Mon. May 21st.  The final two Mondays of the school year, June 4th and June 11th, are 9:00 a.m. starts for students.

4th Annual St. Anne 2012 Golf Outing . . . . Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual St. Anne Golf Outing to be held at Bruce Hills Golf Club on Sat. May 19th.  There will be an 11:00 a.m. Shot-Gun Start.  Your day includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, drinks on the course and dinner.  You won't want to miss out on the fun!!!

No School Thurs. May 24th . . . .  Mark your calendars!! There will be No School Thurs. May 24th.  Fr. Bondy has graciously given us the day off because there were no snow days used this year.  Enjoy your extended Memorial Weekend!

late Start Mondays . . . . School will start 45 minutes later than usual - 9:45 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.  Buses will run 45 minutes later than usual.  Dismissal times remain the same. Late start Mondays will continue until  further notice (early June.)

absence Reminder . . . . If your child is going to be late or absent, please be sure to contact the office.  Even if you inform the teacher about days off, illness, or tardies, the office needs to be informed as well.

recess/playground volunteers needed . . . . Do you have an extra hour or two to spare each month?  We are in need of additional helpers during recess hours from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  Please sign up on the calendar outside the main office.  As with any volunteer position at St. Anne, you must have taken Protecting God's Children in order to participate.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

SCRIP . . . . This is a program that gives you back money from gift certificate purchases to put towards YOUR TUITION.  You may go to www.shopwithscrip.com to place orders.  Payment is due in the office on Monday mornings and your order will be available on Fridays.  If you are new to the program, please contact the office for more information. 

PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN.....According to the Archdiocese of Detroit, every person working (or volunteering) in a school environment is required to take the Protecting God's Children Workshop.  All teachers, administrators, coaches, lunchroom workers, playground parents, volunteers, room parents, etc. MUST have completed this workshop in order to be part of any school function.  If you have not participated in this program, you need to register online at the Archdiocese website (www.aodonline.org) and go to the safe environment tab on the left hand side and then go to Virtus Workshop Schedule & Registration to register for a class.
