January Meeting Minutes . . . . The minutes from the Jan. School Committee Meeting are now available to download and view. Please click here to be directed to the School Committee page.
2012-2013 PSAS Tuition Assistance . . . . The Application for the Archdiocese of Detroit's 2012-2013 Private School Aid Service (PSAS) Tuition Assistance Program is available to download and print. Please click here or go to the Download Forms tab to the left. You may also click here to visit the Archdiocese of Detroit's website for more information.
Christmas Concert DVDs . . . . The DVDs from the Christmas Concert are in. If you ordered one, please stop by the school office to pick it up.
Pint Size Hero Assembly and Blood Drive . . . . On Wed. Feb. 8th, students will take part in a "Pint Size Hero" assembly sponsored by the American Red Cross. St. Anne will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Sun. March 4th from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in JH Rms. 103/104. You can visit www.redcrossblood.org and use Sponsor Code: stanne123 to sign up.
Madonna Guild meeting . . . . The February Madonna Guild meeting has been changed to Mon. Feb. 6th from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. JH Rm. 101.
Current family registration . . . . Students will be bringing home a letter from Mr. Sahadi regarding registration for next school year. Please fill out the registration form on the back of the letter (only one form per family needed) and return it to the office. Deposits are not due until May 2012.
Box Tops/Campbell Labels . . . . A new Box Top and Campbell Label contest will begin Wed. Feb 1st. The class that brings in the most Box Tops and the class that brings in the most Campbell Labels points will win a PJ Day (grades PS-6) or Jeans Day (gr. 7-8.) Please not that each class is limited to (2) 100 bonus point Campbell Label sheets with expiration date 2/29/12 (as each school is only allowed to submit 50.)
This is a fun contest and a great way to raise money for our school. Last November, we raised over $1,400 purchased new outdoor recess equipment and DVD players for the classrooms. Please continue to support this fun filled contest.
Valentine Candy grams . . . . Send your Valentine greetings the sweet way - with a Candy Gram. The St. Anne Madonna Guild is sponsoring Valentine Candy Grams. The Candy Grams are $1.00 each and are due by Feb. 9th. Please click here to download and print the flyer. Please send your Candy Gram request along with payment to the School Office. absence Reminder . . . . If your child is going to be late or absent, please be sure to contact the office. Even if you inform the teacher about days off, illness, or tardies, the office needs to be informed as well.

school closing information . . . . For school closing information, here is a list of the television and radio stations to turn or listen to: Television: Channel 2 Fox, Channel 4 WDIV, Channel 7 WXYZ; AM Radio: WWJ 950 & WJR 760. Look or listen for St. Anne Catholic School or St. Anne School to be announced. If you hear Warren Consolidated, do not assume we are closed.
pictures for yearbooks . . . . If you have taken pictures of your child's class activities, sporting events, or any other school activity, please send a select few to Mrs. Weertz in the office. You can send them by email or by putting the pictures on a CD. Please include the activity name, names of students and date.
Discount Cards . . . . The Athletic Booster Club is selling Discount Cards which offer great discounts at many Warren area businesses. Please click here to view all the great discounts you can receive. The cards are $10 and are good through April 30, 2013. Please see Chris Cylkowski, Doug Burg or Jody Campbell to purchase one. Or send your $10 (checks made payable to St. Anne Athletics) to the office along with your name and child's room number. Act fast - there are only 100 cards available.

recess/playground volunteers needed . . . . Do you have an extra hour or two to spare each month? We are in need of additional helpers during recess hours from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please sign up on the calendar outside the main office. As with any volunteer position at St. Anne, you must have taken Protecting God's Children in order to participate. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

late Start Mondays . . . . School will start 45 minutes later than usual - 9:45 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m. Buses will run 45 minutes later than usual. Dismissal times remain the same. Late start Mondays will continue until further notice (early June.)

SCRIP . . . . This is a program that gives you back money from gift certificate purchases to put towards YOUR TUITION. You may go to www.shopwithscrip.com to place orders. Payment is due in the office on Monday mornings and your order will be available on Fridays. If you are new to the program, please contact the office for more information.
PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN.....According to the Archdiocese of Detroit, every person working (or volunteering) in a school environment is required to take the Protecting God's Children Workshop. All teachers, administrators, coaches, lunchroom workers, playground parents, volunteers, room parents, etc. MUST have completed this workshop in order to be part of any school function. If you have not participated in this program, you need to register online at the Archdiocese website (www.aodonline.org) and go to the safe environment tab on the left hand side and then go to Virtus Workshop Schedule & Registration to register for a class.
