Rest In Peace Fr. Fabian

REVEREND FABIAN Passed away peacefully February 1, 2017 at the age of 92. Fr. Slominski was ordained a priest on May 22, 1948. He served as pastor of St. Anne, Warren, Our Lady of Grace/St. Cletus, Warren and also served as chaplain at St. John Macomb Hospital. Fr. Slominski was the beloved son of the late Bernard and Edith, and brother of the late Fr. Bede Slominski. Visitation will take place Sunday, 12-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at the David J. Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Rd. (1 block north of 12 Mile Rd.), Warren. Bishop Fisher will be officiating the Mass of Christian Burial for Fr. Slominski. Fr. Slominski will lie in state on Monday 10 a.m. until time of Mass 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace/St. Cletus Catholic Church, 26256 Ryan Rd., Warren. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchins.
