Education= : I graduated with a Bachelor of Sci= ence degree in Psychology, along with minors in French and Fine Arts, from Loyol= a University Chicago in 2007. I obtained my Elementary Education Teaching Certification through the University of Detro= it Mercy in March, 2011. My concentrat= ion areas include all subjects for Kindergarten through 5^th grade, a= long with endorsements in Integrated Science and Mathematics for 6^th through 8^th grade.

Teaching Expe= rience:

I am extremely honored to begin my career as a Kinderg= arten teacher at St Anne Catholic Grade School this school year! I was fortunate to observe and ass= ist at St. Mary Catholic School in Ro= yal Oak for the 2008/09 and 2009/10 school years, and I began privately tutoring students in 2009. I had a won= derful experience as a student teacher for St. Mary’s 2^nd grade c= lass and have been substitute teaching at St. Mary and St= . Anne for Preschool through 8^th grade since January 2011.

Why are you passionate about Catholic= School education?

I was blessed with the opportunity to attend a Catholic elementary and high school, followed by Jesuit universities. My parents, various teachers, ment= ors, and staff members made my education a truly rewarding experience. A Catholic education has instilled strong morals and values into my everyday life. It has helped me develop extreme determination, hope, and a positive work ethic.

What do you l= ike best about teaching at St. Anne Catholic Grade School?

I enjoy the loving, welcoming atmosphere at St. Anne Catholic Grade School, and I appreciate the tremendous family involvement.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'> The supportive interaction among s= taff members creates a positive learning environment. The students put a smile on my face every day which makes teaching the most wonderful experience I could ever imagine. I am grateful for the opportunity to enrich the lives of my students with the gift of Catholic education and the pure joy of learning
