Strategic Action Plan

Background Information

    The University of Notre Dame Detroit Alumni Chapter has made available to St. Anne their expertise in assisting in the development of a Strategic Action Plan for our school. Notre Dame has identified that Catholic schools are important to our community and they have committed their time in helping several other schools in this manner.  Father Bondy is a Notre Dame alumnus.

    It is important to understand that this plan is developed with the goal of providing a framework to address all areas of the school including staffing, curriculum, facility maintenance and improvements and enhancing the experiences of the student body. The St Anne Catholic Grade School strategic action plan will be a plan that embraces our community and its spiritual values for the benefit of all. The process will allow the school to have well defined and written objectives that will be monitored and just as importantly, will inherently hold all parties accountable for action.

     Because this plan is intended to address the diverse nature of our community, it is also important that the people who contribute represent a good cross-section of our schools interests. As such, the group will likely expand or change so that we can have a process in place that will provide a way for parents, staff and organizations within our community to understand the direction of our school and move forward to reach a common goal.

    The planning group currently meets every two weeks and will provide updates at school committee meetings. We encourage you to attend the school committee meetings for updates.  In addition we will send written updates at appropriate times during this process to keep you informed.

      In understanding what is important to our parents, and to help develop a prioritized plan to address immediate needs as well as long term goals, the planning committee will be conducting surveys annually and as the need arises.  The survey WILL NOT gather personal information and is anonymous. No data about the identity of the participants is received by St. Anne.
