Survey Results

    The Strategic Action Plan Survey was open to all families for their candid response.  Three main areas for improvement were identified.  In the next step, subcommittees will be formed to analyze and address these areas.

• When asked how you heard about the school, the majority of parents were referred by friends, showing a strong sense of community

• The respondents were from an even distribution across all grades

• Most parents chose St. Anne because of Catholic Education, Moral Development, and Safe Environment

• Areas to improve are Technology, School Appearance, Library/Media Center

• Parents felt that the English/Literature curriculum is good and that we need to improve our 'Specials' curriculum

• The majority of parents are reasonably satisfied, but there is room for improvement

• Overall, most parents would recommend our school

• Many comments were made, both of praise and criticism. All comments are viewed as a way to improve our school. Thank you to all who took the time to express their opinions!

Based on the comments from parents, St. Anne has made some commitments to our parents:

• Improve the communication system between parents and school

• Develop and implement a plan for updated computers and computer lab prior to September 1, 2011

• Have a written curriculum guide for all grades that is available to parents prior to September 1, 2011

• Continue and expand the Strategic Action Plan to include prioritized broadened areas for development, including:

• Increasing / developing enrollment

• Funding sources including additional fundraising and grants

• Increased volunteerism among the parents, parish, and community
